SAVE the Date for the next National Race to End Women’s Cancer on Sunday, November 3, 2013!

GCAM Courses: In addition to the National Race on Sunday, November 3, the 2013 Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Movement weekend will feature three concurrent courses for survivors of cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer on Saturday, November 2, 2013, as well as a state-of-the-art Physicians Course for surgeons, nurses, P.A.’s and other health providers. More information will be available in Summer 2013.

A: Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. The race begins and ends at Freedom Plaza, Pennsylvania Avenue and 14th Street in Washington, DC. Pre-race program and warmup begins at 8:15 a.m.

A: To raise awareness and crucial research funding to fight GYN cancers, and to provide educational resources, including free survivors courses held throughout the country, for women diagnosed with a reproductive cancer, their loved ones and caregivers. A: Of course! We welcome families of all kinds and strollers are OK. New this year: Kids Pit Stall, with face painting, arts and crafts and fun for the little ones!

Q: May I bring my dog to the event?

A: We love dogs, but discourage their presence on the race route for safety reasons. Of course, service dogs are always welcome.
